Hello Again,
I took a trip down memory lane the yesterday and sat listening to some of the first songs I ever recorded. If I remember correctly, my first time recording a song properly was when I was about 12 years old (that doesn't include the "demo tapes" I recorded everyweekend in my bedroom with intentions to send them to record companies.I was only 8 years old, lol).
As I was listening, and cringing, I thought it might be an idea to post one of the songs on here just for laughs. This song is one I wrote when I was 14 years old in my first year at The BRIT School. I had just discovered technical side to harmony, as you'll hear.
Enjoy.
p.s if you wanna hear some more recordings from back in the day, some of those 12 years old recordings, then let me know and i'll post some more.

Hello UK UNSIGNED,
I joined this group a few days ago and haven't the chance to pop in and say hi there and hello to you.
A short introduction - my name is Kayla and I'm a singer/songwriter who is pretty new to the vox.com family so please bare with me.
I've uploaded some songs of mine and the odd video clip so if your interested in seeing what I'm about as an artist the swing on by, have a listen and let me know what you think. Might sound cliche but I'm being ever so genuine when i say that any and all feedback is gratefully received, it all helps to point me in the right direction.
Please also message me or add me as your neighbour, I'd love to have a look and listen on as many blog pages as possible so let me know who you are so I can have a good old nose, lol.
Anyway, that's me done so I hope to maybe hear from a few people?
Heres one of my songs just incase you wanna have a quick listen... (had to do it)
Bye

Hello Again,
I've been busy trying to copy to disc, rip to comp, change format, upoload, download, left load and right load pretty much all the personal footage I can get my hands on but it's not been easy. Three late nights, continuous headaches and £20 later, I'm finally done ,well done ish.
This is a clip of my second performance at the Jazz Cafe. I did a three track set that night but they were quite loud so I've uploaded this one as its easier onthe ear, lol.
Enjoy!
Hiya,
My name is Kayla . I'm new to Vox so please bare with me. I will do my very best to keep this page as interesting as possible. The main reason I created this page is to promote my music and get some feedback on my material. I'm a dedicated and passionate musician so any and all feedback is gratefully received.
My biog is posted so that should provide a breif overview of my musical past so I'll use this space to be a less formal, I'll use it to introduce myself, lol.
I'm 20 years old right now but feel like I have an old soul, I've always been told that I'm beyond my years so I guess I've become somewhat submissive to the suggestion. I'm very bubbly and outgoing but try to balance that with a calmer more responsible side, whether efforts to merge the two are successful is another thing, lol. I'm not the diva/egotistical sort at all. I've always felt that a person is more beautiful inwardly and outwardly if they are humble and genuine. There is nothing uglier than a person who's crossed the line from confident and self assured to cocky and agrogant so rest assured you won't getany of that with me.
I guess its fair to say I'm pretty normal and live pretty normally, lol. My main focuses in life are my family and my music. So long as the two are a part of my life I'll be the happiest person living. I love to write songs and perform them. i do enjoy a good studio session but lets face it, there's nothing quite like a live performance with people right there. Seeing their reactions and feeding of their excitement is the best! I thinkof my music and my writing as an extention of me so I'm reallt sharing a little of myself and my experiences with people and hoping they like what they hear.
Well I'd better stop myself there. I started talking about music and almost allowed myself to ramble on then. I reckon this essay is wnough for the minuet.
I'd love to hear from anyone and everyone who fancies sending me a message so please feel free to message me about anything you feel to :)
Kayla
